Critters Attack! works on the most basic of expectations, to see critters bound around like kickballs and at times feast on the limbs of unlucky adults.

So while it's impossible to recommend Critters Attack! as required viewing, it does provide a low budget horror-comedy that's probably fine with you viewing it as nothing more than a disposable but diverting 90 minutes.

It's not good, because of course it isn't, but worst of all, Critters Attack! is depressingly low on charm.

Critters 3 took place all in one apartment building, and 4 was in space on a spaceship set that was manageable. Now a straight to video Critters movie holds up with the theatrical Critters films, which admittedly were always low budget.
