The length of the film begins weighing upon the plot, which starts stretching and flattening. A crisper plot and faster pace would have made Lootcase what it was aiming to be.

The humour in Lootcase soon becomes sparse, the occasional wisecrack/misunderstanding can be seen coming from a mile and the pace slackens. The narrative’s lack of urgency is its undoing.

It's basically harmless fun at the movies.

The brilliant and tight writing of the film takes a little dip towards the end when it starts feeling a little stretched. Overall, the film is a harmless, entertaining film which promises good laughs throughout.
