Gail is forced to come to terms with Josh, her new stepson, at a remote country home. After stealing an evil talisman from a mysterious neighbor, Josh has sinister dreams of his dead mother, who commands Josh to murder Gail. The majority what's wrong with this awful horror movie lies with the constantly frustrating characters, who make inexplicably poor decisions and behave in ways that have nothing to do with reality.

Dreamkatcher is an above-average supernatural screamer that is more than worth the time to watch.

The dialogue is clunky, the suspense is weak, and the nonsensical mythology leads to an abrupt, useless ending.
