West Is West is drippy, but a still watchable sequel, in which the returning Jahangir-George [Khan] is re-united, temporarily, with a lost vantage.

This film has no real purpose in and of itself, or none that I can think of, and simply exploits what residual affection you might have for the original.

It takes some getting used to, but be patient: Within the madness, there's definitely a method, and rewards for the reaping.

Committing to too many storylines, West Is West is forced into a rushed final act that has a glut of neat conclusions that often spring up out of nowhere.
