A beautiful and poignant film that tackles mental health, political turmoil, and how people cope. Intelligently written and fantastic camerawork.

Beware of Dog is a timely, necessary film. Bedzhanova weaves together an international tapestry of troubled souls while calling attention to some of the worldwide political landscapes we are living through now.

Beware of Dog is a thought-provoking film that handles its many moving pieces with grace. There's a lot left on the table, but Bedzhanova crafted a narrative that examines the many facets of mental illness in a way that never feels trite or exploitative.

The fact that it even halfway succeeds is a laudable accomplishment.
