It’s the slow-moving path to the finale that brings the film down. There’s simply not enough to bridge the movie’s strong start and surprise ending.

This is a Russian film that has been dubbed into English. That is not the problem here. The two main problems are the acting by the cast and the inconsistencies in the story or the way it is presented.

Even with the clever application of tropes and engaging twists, "Row 19" mostly suffers through inconsistencies in presentation and performances that don’t entirely grip you.

Row 19 is a decent horror film with some creepy elements, but it is clearly more aimed at the general public than hard core horror fans.
