The 24th

I wish it took some more chances, but it is solidly made.

Solid, but not necessarily more than that.

"The 24th" means well, and while it, sadly, mostly elicits a shrug, what the film lacks in pizzaz it more than makes up for in educational value, for better or worse.

It’s handling of racial and social issues is deft, and its attempt to parallel the injustices going on today is commendable (if not entirely successful).
