An erratic if earnest watch.

While never as extreme as many other films of the '70s, and indeed quite polished, it's the sense of anguish and anger that lingers.

Pretty good Italian mystery-thriller that has some poignant moments and thankfully not too many weird scenes that I often see in these kind of Italian-produced films (the only one was the media publishing a fully nude picture of a woman hanging). Otherwise, some good scenes and acting from the two main leads weren't bad. One of the better "giallo" movies I've seen among the ones I've recently watched. **3.75/5**
