I want to believe Veera is safeguarding his odd little motley crew from danger as they travel from Golconda to Delhi, but the execution doesn't stop my mind from giving in to the fact that it's all taking place in front of a green screen in Pithapuram.

Although this epic action film has flashy visual spectacles, including eye-catching costume designs, this story (about a warrior on a mission to find a valuable diamond) lacks creativity and has too many stereotypical characters with flat personalities.

This period drama, blending fact and fiction, often loses its way and feels stretched.

...the film has sub-plots and sub-texts exploring Veera Mallu’s hidden motives, but it is a half-baked and dragged screenplay, which has marred the movie.
