Critics consensus

“Locked Down combines a heist caper, a relationship drama, and pandemic-era timeliness to produce a film that's frustratingly less than the sum of its parts.”

Despite some decent performances from Hathaway and Ejiofor, Locked Down often feels as monotonous as lockdown itself.

The film is a striking and unexpected experiment -- and before we get to the fanciful ending, the long build-up conveys a recognizable feeling of marking time.

Kinda fun with good chemistry, but utterly disposable...

The movie tries to get you to laugh at things that are otherwise uncomfortable, but I wish they dove more into the heist side of things.
