Every character in this precisely envisioned story is complex and carrying lots of emotional baggage. “Maybe Someday” is a slice of life served up by pros.

it is a quietly powerful film – Ehlen dares to go deep, and it is resonant in its depiction of heartbreak, depression, friendship, love and healing. And it’s funny – imbued with Ehlen’s dry humor and the comedy of the human predicament.

Maybe Someday is not a complicated piece of work, but the emotions of letting go certainly are. It so well, through two entire sets of actors, depicts the challenge of accepting when things need to change and the joy of allowing them to.

Maybe Someday is a quietly moving motion picture, simultaneously humorous in natural places yet grounded in honest feelings and the natural tensions and intimacies of relationships and friendships.
