An amiable yet unambitious and tonally shaky Tinseltown-set romantic comedy.

RTThe Times (UK)Apr 29, 2022

Compelling mainly for demonstrating that an actual human life could be hewn from so many hoary movie clichés.

RTTheWrapApr 28, 2022

Bats at the sort of low-hanging fruit that, given the right mood, could be of interest to anyone who enjoys watching cornball romantic comedies or even the embarrassing but compulsively watchable iAnd Just Like Thati revival.

RTShadows on the WallMay 4, 2022

Taking an earthy, realistic approach to both the imagery and the voiceover narration, writer-director Lisa Azuelos gives this autobiographical comedy-drama a strongly personal kick.
