Miss Bara is at her best.

After a lay-off of [a few pictures], during which Theda typified all that was noble, good and self-sacrificing, she flings herself with abandon into her heavy stuff in The Vixen.

The way the vixen stuffs her sister and everyone else with lies which they swallow hook, line and sinker is amusing and instead of creating suspense makes you smile. The author has not granted the characters human intelligence.

Six reels are too many for the telling of this story.
