An unusual and ungenerous action drama.

A sappy but enjoyable slice of family fun that has a nice horse doing wacky tricks for the younger viewers and for parents and older fans... a gently meta, valedictory canter through the paddock of Chan’s previous achievements.

In sum, “Ride On” is a fine film about a man, his daughter and the horse they both love — and of passion for how action movies used to be made.

The few hand-to-hand fights between Leo and the bad guys are very well shot and the choreographies are brilliantly realized. [Full review in Spanish]
