The Street

Hilarious, and yet tragic.

It's not easy viewing, and its central message does feel laboured, but it remains effective evidence of the inhumane impact of austerity, gentrification, and the inability of Brexit to act as any form of solution to this country's problems.

A film that makes a persuasive case against the headlong acceleration of change.

The Street can only be viewed with a heavy heart, and it's a painful reminder of how little autonomy people have in the face of such wealthy resources.
