Chu-Chin-Chow

The movie is flawed and may require a certain mood of acceptance, but it is foolish and delightful, and I like it.

It is a distinctly superior picture, by any a delight.

U.S. cinemaddicts may find the photography in Chu Chin Chow inferior to most recent Hollywood musicomedies... but are likely to approve the decor, [music, and Anna May Wong,] the only performer in the cast whose name is familiar to them.

It is a fantasy made up of exciting dramatic situations, and good comedy, all of which is aided by an unusually good musical score and fine voices.
