Close to unwatchable.

“Scrooge: A Christmas Carol” isn’t the best addition to the collection of adaptations, not by a long shot. But it’s surely the glitziest.

If the underlying message is to be decent before it’s too late, then be nice to yourself and queue up the berserk and brilliant Muppets Christmas Carol, why don’t you? You only live once.

A stiff and alarmingly undercooked presentation that prioritises ugly, Pixar-lite high jinks over traditional Dickensian charm.
