Nick Kroll: Little Big Boy

Kroll awes and flounders in equal measure throughout the runtime of the one-hour special... It’s the second approach of Kroll’s special that proves to be a letdown considering it sits at odds with his own reputation.

Vulnerability that doesn’t feel manipulative is no mean feat. Kroll’s Netflix debut is another strong entry from him to the streaming service’s canon, and proves after a lively career of personas and characters, he’s just as willing to look within.

For all of that, though, there’s also a more sensitive side to Kroll that he wants us to see.

A little disappointing to be honest. I think Kroll's funny voices work better as characters in *Big Mouth* or *Kroll Show* rather than in a stand-up set.
