Generous souls might cut this film some slack and put its air of desperate shonkiness down to lack of budget, but that’s not much of an excuse.

Unfortunately, this tale keeps on a fairly safe and predictable path.

Director Marianna Dean and writer David Trotti have crafted an engaging, time-travel mystery that drops the viewer into the plot and keeps the intrigue flowing.

Even if scenes sometimes feel underpowered, and the contortions of the story never quite resolve themselves, there's plenty of compelling interest.
