James Bond alum Martin Campbell’s modest popcorn caper has murky eco-terrorism ideas and wastes Clive Owen, but knows how to steer a clockwork action movie.

Cleaner has good people behind it but this British attempt at a Die Hard ends up just being a bit of a mess. Yippee-ki-nay.

Regardless, and despite its obvious budget constraints, “Cleaner” is a certainly entertaining, action-packed romp that’s also well-shot. [Full review in Spanish]
