The film-makers get incredible access to both sets of rescuers and the way these two mutually distrustful groups eventually joined forces is a valuable reminder about the power of coming together.

The Lost Children is a compelling documentary about the dedicated search for four kids gone missing in a harsh, dangerous environment.

A tried and true search and rescue chronicle.

The documentary is worth it if only to see how the filmmakers explain how the children survived in the jungle. Using elements that seem pulled out a fairy tale, they craft one of the most wondrous moments of any film released recently.
