Novosel capably balances Marko’s lightness and intensity opposite Žunac’s more introverted Slaven, but the pair’s chemistry does not speak of a smoldering desire or forbidden love that won’t be denied.

Bravo to all the creatives involved in Sandbag Dam for telling an urgent and important story and never making it feel like a polemic...

Director Cernic Canak maintains a very light touch here, exploring the topic with sensitivity.
