This comedy reinvigorates the familiar conventions of Bollywood's signature genre.

RTNew York TimesFeb 10, 2014

While the film starts out as a seemingly fresh take on the romantic comedy, it is saddled with numerous contrivances and the clichd trappings of the genre: big weddings, wayward souls and quick-to-judge elders.

RTMumbai MirrorFeb 6, 2019

Parineeti as Meeta is one for the ages; she is the powering force behind a well-mounted film which, for most of its 141 minutes, is a timely shot in the arm for a traditionally mishandled genre.
