All About Ann: Governor Richards of the Lone Star State

HBO's warmly felt doc isn't a hard-hitting look, but it does give the late Texan a curtain call she no doubt would have relished.

Open and honest, much like Richards, All About Ann may not quite deliver one-hundred percent on its title, but it's certainly an engaging biography.

This rousing partisan documentary resurrects the late Ann Richards, and it's showing on HBO in a Lone Star election year. The Republicans better worry about Texans seeing it.

...you can get a lot more people to listen to what you have to say if you're funny.
