In his directorial debut, Jon Greenhalgh presents a focused account of the events leading up to Dave's death at the hands of millionaire John Du Pont, owner of the exclusive, titular Pennsylvania wrestling facility, Team Foxcatcher.

It's a straightforward documentary and a good one for those who haven't already spent enough time with this strange, unsettling story.

The tense, nerve-racking score and our own knowledge of the outcome gives the events a sense of doomed inevitability.

There's a clear bias from executive producer Nancy Schultz (widow of Dave) and the lack of inclusion from Mark Schultz, but overall the doc does a good job of capturing du Pont's paranoid decline in advance of the murder.
