A rather limp, confusing little fantasy that could have been left gathering even more dust on the shelf without anyone needing to know.

…once the burning tulips and giant-fly traps have faded away, what’s left is an odd, miscalculated film that’s only real value is as a final round of goodbyes to a beloved star…

[Carrie] Fisher herself is engaging as the mystical witch Hazel, but the rest of Wonderwell doesn't support the magic she brings.

A well-made, thought-provoking fantasy spectacle that is sure to score points among Fisher fans, who will not only enjoy her feisty, straight-talking character but will be reminded of her intrinsic beauty and talent.
