The Gospel According to André

The most interesting aspect of this slightly over-long documentary has Talley and numerous old friends recall him growing up in the segregated South before embarking on a most unlikely career in New York. Well worth checking out.

I'm a sucker for this sort of film.

Pleasantly fills a 90-minute gap, but probably one for fashion nuts only.

André Leon Talley is an ideal figure for a documentary: smart, eloquent, widely accomplished, and undeniably charismatic.
