Too arty for K-horror buffs and too grisly and nonsensical for world-cinema aficionados.

It is this contrast between the two women that energises Bedevilled, a character-driven slowburner that builds ever so deliberately to its murderous climax.

Bedevilled looks beautiful with impressive cinematography from Kim Gi-tae and a haunting score by Kim Tae-seong which is a perfect accompaniment to Jang Cheol-soo’s direction.
