More of the same, with less spark.

Mohit Suri is so afraid that his audience won’t get his supremely intelligent film that he keeps spelling out everything that is happening on the screen. And the more he explains, the funnier it gets.

RTCommon Sense MediaJul 19, 2023

This action thriller directed by Mohit Suri is an illogical catalog of competing toxic masculinities. Ek Villain Returns essentially tells the same story of 2014's Ek Villain, romanticizing brutal crime, serial killers, and female objectification.

Leave you brain at home if you insist on seeing Arjun Kapoor and John Abraham's confusing, painful action film.
