The Church

There is no denying the dreaminess of Soavi's stream-of-consciousness horror show.

This so-so thriller should appeal mostly to followers of Dario Argento, the Italian filmmaker noted for such gruesome scare-fest hokum.

Even when the film gets slow, it's nearly impossible to turn away and risk missing the next beautifully framed shot.
