Tulsa: The Fire and the Forgotten works best as a learning tool, filling in some of the blanks of American history, details that were purposely redacted by the same types of people who wish to continue that redaction.

Its dedication to the Massacre on a journalistic, human level makes the documentary a worthy look at the burning of Black Wall Street.

Tulsa: The Fire and the Forgotten is timely not only for the event it covers but for a country in which a large swath of its population confuses patriotism with blind allegiance.
