Mean Spirited is that gem we spend literal hours sifting for, and even with some challenges, it’s a fun, funny, and genuinely scary film with some clever angles that elevate it from the pack.

Mean Spirited disappoints as both an unfunny satire and unscary thriller...

Jeff Ryan’s Mean Spirited voices relevant and vile concerns about social media soullessness, but its commentary is neutered by shaky execution.
