Critics consensus

“Dreary and poorly paced, this reimagining of The Crow doesn't have enough personality or pulse to merit the resurrection.”

Rupert Sanders’ lifeless remake of the cult 1994 resurrection thriller fails to whip up any sense of passion between its two leads, Bill Skarsgard and FKA Twigs.

Lots of movies are “bad” but still interesting but earnest-to-a-fault The Crow is not that.

2024’s ‘The Crow’ is a testament to what happens when story material is resurrected and rebooted without wondering if it should be in the first place.
