This is an intense, harrowing, and gripping account of the violence surrounding a real bank robbery and taking of hostages.

It’s hard to endorse Gladbeck: The Hostage Crisis because it’s so hard to watch; it exists smack in the gray area between good journalism and true crime ickiness.

RTReady Steady CutJun 10, 2022

Gladbeck: The Hostage Crisis is a thrilling and powerful documentary about ethics, arrogance of mythical proportions, and structural incompetence.
