Critics consensus

“Taron Egerton and an against-type Jason Bateman make for great adversaries in Carry-On , a throwback thriller that clears all checkpoints of plot logic with its confident execution.”

"Carry-On" is an action movie that is definitely a Christmas movie, no ifs, ands or buts about it.

The one-dimensional characters and lack of awareness around how airports work—to say nothing of the shameless bootlicking throughout—turn Carry-On into an immediately forgettable holiday hatewatch.
