Storyline

Maurice may look like a penguin - but he's a real tiger inside! Raised by a tigress, he's the clumsiest kung-fu master ever. Along with his friends, The Jungle Bunch, he intends to maintain order and justice in the jungle, as his mother did before he. But Igor, an evil koala, wants to destroy the jungle once and for all—helped by his army of silly baboons.

Critics consensus

“At once restless and plodding, The Jungle Bunch is a woefully indistinct piece of animated kiddie fare.”

I tried to concentrate on the visuals and then they reminded me how much I liked Madagascar more than I thought I liked it the first time I saw it.

At worst, the English dialogue sounds as if it were translated from dolphin noise into human.

Loud and zappy, The Jungle Bunch trots out predictable be-kind-be-brave platitudes, but lacks anything distinctive of its own.

Light and upbeat but neither very memorable nor original, THE JUNGLE BUNCH is a pleasant enough diversion for little kids.
