The Fallen

Had a minimal effort been made to address policing controversies in the context of an honest argument that the job is grueling and perilous, "Fallen" might have been more powerful.

Fallen is a moving documentary that gives us some insight into police work and how they are impacted by their fallen service members.

Despite the simplicity of its structure, however, there is enough here to appeal to a general audience and it may well prove educational, especially where it undermines the glamour sometimes attached to the profession.
