‘Gunner’ embodies everything that makes a film so bad, it's almost entertaining.

Far more interested in shooting and fights than it is in characters or ideas, this generic action thriller can't even get that much right, with its choppy, incoherent look and sluggish pacing.

Gunner is the type of movie that lacks imagination as the plot is recycled, the music is off the mark and many of the performances are simply mediocre.

Dig real deep, and you might unearth a redeeming quality in Gunner — but it's not worth the effort.
